Visit with Legislative Leadership and Represent Your Industry
The WFIA annual “Day (Session) at the State Capitol” is open to all members. We visit with key legislative leadership on business and food industry issues. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from legislative leadership speakers, learn more about your local government and the legislative process, represent our industry, and have your voice heard.
It is WFIA's 125th Anniversary and we want to celebrate! With 2024 being a short legislative session, we had to cancel the reception. However, if you still want the opportunity to meet with your legislator and talk to them about issues impacting your stores on January 30, email Connie Carlson at connie@wafood.org. We will team you up with other members in your district, brief you on current issues, and do our best to schedule a meeting with your legislator. Our goal for 2025 is to host a legislative reception.
